Our Founder, MD and Principal Consultant/Trainer
Randy Smith, MA, CBCP
Randy Smith is the Founder and Managing Director of Resilience Continuity Solutions (RCS) a full-service business continuity and emergency management consulting firm. Prior to RCS, Randy was the Business Continuity & Emergency Response leader at a major global facility management firm. He has developed numerous Business Continuity Plans including corporate plans for Canadian and US multi-nationals, Infectious Disease Plans, Crisis Communication Plans as well as BCP’s for financial institutions, utilities, large communication companies, logistics, healthcare and government. He has led numerous Crisis Management Team Business Continuity Plan activations. Randy has developed, tested and exercised well over 100 Business Continuity and Emergency Response Plans. He is experienced at developing and implementing proven BCP strategies to achieve ISO 22301 certification. Randy is also a certified instructor with DRI Canada, a distance education instructor in the Disaster & Emergency Management Program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), an instructor at the Centre for Applied Disaster & Emergency Management and serves as the Vice Chair on the Board of Directors of Bladder Cancer Canada.
